Breakfast at Tiffany’s

A few months ago Tiffany & Co. did an amazing merchandising choice and opened a cafe at its flagship store in New York City. Everyone in the world must know the famous scene in the movie ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ where Audrey Hepburn stepped out of a yellow cab and had some coffee and a croissant outside Tiffany’s shop. This scene has become iconic and now, 56 years later, you can actually have breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Located in the flagship store in NYC at Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, on the fourth floor of the building a Blue Box Cafe waits for the classic lovers from all around the world. The menu is full of sophisticated dishes like maine lobster and osetra caviar, you can have a lunch for 39$ which consists of a starter and a main dish, breakfast for 29$ where you can choose a croissant, some fresh fruit, bagels, eggs or waffles and you can order a beverage or a sweet separately. The cheapest thing on the menu is a 5$ cup of espresso.

Though the prices are very high, this place is extremely popular because I just tried to make reservations and they do not have any tables for 1, 2 or 4 people during January and February, not a spot left! I guess a lot of people want to experience that iconic scene from the movie and now they can do it in style, surrounded by a beautiful interior design and an amazing view as well.
